Steps performed in the old Market Hall in Derby on Saturday 30 September 2017. In part, this was to raise the visibility of encouraging people over 50 to consider volunteering for charities such as ours. We were hounoured that Mayor and Mayoress of Derby, John and Juliette Whitby, kindly gave up their time to start proceedings off and also took the time to chat individually to the students. Their time was greatly appreciated by all at Steps. Much fun was had by all, performances by the "choir" and dancing performances by the students. Below is a gallery of photographs from the event. As ever our thanks to Russell Pollard for the excellent pictures. Click on one and you should be able to move through the rest of them from there.
We were privileged and proud to have been asked to perform at the Mayor's Civic Dinner on the 19 May 2017 at Derby Arena (not a public performance) - below are some pictures from the evening (click the blue square for full-screen view and again to return to normal view - see the captions that way too). Thanks for the opportunity and the audience participation. The Steps students had a great night and we hope all of you did as well!
All of the pictures from the evening are accessible via the 'Home' page (see the "Mayor's Civic Dinner Photo gallery" link where you should be able to save images to your local machine and print if you require). Any problems let us know and we can email any particular pictures your require.
Steps supported International Womens Day on Saturday 11 March 2017, in Derby Market square. We were there most of the day and the students performed between 14:30 and 14:50 - Thanks for the lovely support we received!
A few pictures are shown below - Thanks to Russell Pollard of Derby News (www.derbynews.org.uk) for the photographs.

11 July 2016 (below)- Performance at Deda by Steps for NCS. A real big thanks to the students and staff at NCS for getting involved from minute one, it made it such a special occasion and very rewarding for the Steps students who put a lot of time and effort into practising their performances and your participation made it a blast. I hope you enjoyed it as much as we did! Well done! A couple of practising shots (at the Alice Street Community Centre) before arriving a bit wet at Deda. Also a couple of photo's of the actual performance. Sadly, my photography is as good as my dancing which is why I do admin...
